Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the ATTENT10N platform and services. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to all users.
1. Using Your Reports
ATTENT10N Reports and Scores are licensed for your internal business use. You may:
- Share reports with colleagues, advisors, and stakeholders within your organisation
- Use scores and insights to inform your brand strategy, marketing, and content decisions
- Reference your ATTENT10N Score publicly (e.g. "ATTENT10N Score: 7.2/10") with attribution to ATTENT10N
- Include report excerpts in internal presentations, board decks, and strategy documents
- Share report excerpts on social media or marketing materials, provided the source is attributed to ATTENT10N and the data is not altered
2. What You Must Not Do
With reports and scores
- Resell or redistribute reports, scores, or underlying data commercially
- Alter or falsify report contents, scores, or ATTENT10N branding
- Misrepresent scores as endorsements, certifications, or guarantees from ATTENT10N
- Present competitor scores from your report as if they were conducted on behalf of that competitor
- Publish full reports publicly without our written permission (excerpts with attribution are fine)
With the methodology
- Reverse-engineer the Attention Score Algorithm or attempt to reconstruct scoring weights, formulas, or data source configurations from report outputs
- Systematically analyse multiple reports to derive or approximate the scoring methodology
- Create competing products or services based on insights gained from our methodology or report structure
- Train AI or machine learning models using data extracted from the Service without our written permission
With the platform
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform using automated tools
- Bypass access controls, rate limits, or subscription tier restrictions
- Share account credentials or allow unauthorised users to access the Service through your account
- Use bots or scripts to interact with the Service (except through our official API, if offered)
- Interfere with the platform's infrastructure, security, or performance
- Submit false information when setting up audits (fake brand names, misleading categories)
- Exceed your tier limits or attempt to circumvent query, report, or competitor caps
General conduct
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable law
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or our team
- Impersonate another person or organisation
- Use the Service to defame or damage the reputation of any individual or business using fabricated or misleading data
3. Competitor Data Ethics
ATTENT10N Reports may include data about competitors that you have selected for comparison. This data is derived from publicly available sources and our proprietary analysis.
You should be aware that:
- Competitor scores in your report are generated using the same methodology as your own score
- Competitor data is a snapshot at the time of audit and may differ from their own internal metrics
- Sharing competitor scores publicly may have commercial or legal implications depending on your jurisdiction
- We recommend using competitor data for internal strategic purposes rather than public claims
4. Fair Use
We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns to ensure fair use of the platform. This includes:
- Query volumes that significantly exceed your tier allocation
- Unusual patterns suggesting automated or programmatic access
- Bulk account creation
- Patterns consistent with data extraction or scraping
If we detect usage that violates this policy, we may:
- Contact you to discuss and resolve the issue
- Temporarily restrict access to your account
- Suspend or terminate your account (for serious or repeated violations)
We will always attempt to resolve issues through dialogue before taking enforcement action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the platform or other users.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any misuse of the ATTENT10N platform or violations of this policy, please report it to legal@attent10n.ai.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where material, communicated via email or platform notice.
